As a kid I always remembered the days I would get to go to work for the day.  Waking up early and being on the road before the sun came up.  Service calls for problem circuits or putting the finishing touches on a new home with the boss who was also my father.  Most days I would get bored by lunch and find myself looking for frogs in the back of a jobsite.  I remember one day in particular though where I learned a valuable lesson.  It was my job to put electrical plates on the switches and receptacles and I was taught how even something so simple had a right and wrong way to be done.  The plates needed to be flush with the drywall and level with screws perfectly in the vertical position.  This extra touch was the sign of a professional my father would say.  He explained to put “care in everything you do”.

As ZAM Electric has grown in size, and the scale of the projects we take on has steadily increased, we still remain true to that statement. We strive to be the electrical contractor that our customers turn to whenever they have a need, and we hope that at least part of this is because of the extra care we provide.
