Welcome to ZAM Electric Inc. (“ZAM Electric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, communication with our team, scheduling of services, and any electrical work performed by ZAM Electric Inc.

By requesting an estimate, scheduling service, submitting a form, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of our website and services.

1. PAYMENT TERMS

A deposit may be required depending on the scope of work and will be stated on your estimate or invoice.

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the job and receipt of the final invoice.

Accepted payment methods include check, credit card, and electronic payment.

A 2% late fee will be added to any invoice not paid within 30 days.

Cancellations and refunds may be subject to costs incurred at the time of cancellation.

2. TAXES

Customers are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes related to the services provided.

Tax-exempt customers must provide a valid exemption certificate prior to work beginning.

3. SERVICE TERMS

By accepting an estimate or scheduling service, you authorize ZAM Electric to perform the work as described.

Any work requested that is not included in the approved estimate will incur additional charges.

All work will be performed in accordance with applicable electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Access to the job site must be provided on the scheduled day and time.

You acknowledge that unforeseen conditions (including concealed wiring, structural limitations, panel accessibility issues, or prior improper installations) may require additional work and fees.

4. WARRANTY

ZAM Electric provides a two (2) year labor warranty on workmanship.

This warranty covers workmanship only.

Warranty does not apply to equipment, devices, fixtures, or materials not supplied by ZAM Electric.

Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment we supply and install.

No warranty is provided on products, fixtures, or equipment supplied by the customer.

5. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT

If the customer supplies their own fixtures, equipment, or materials:

• All necessary parts must be provided on-site prior to installation
• Missing parts requiring a return visit will incur a $175 trip fee per visit
• Customer-supplied equipment is not covered under any ZAM Electric warranty

6. SCHEDULING & RESCHEDULING

Standard working hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays.

Customers must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule.

ZAM Electric reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, emergencies, staffing, or supply conditions.

7. CHANGES & ADDITIONAL WORK

Changes to the scope, materials, specifications, or timeline requested after approval of the estimate:

• Must be documented in a revised estimate
• Must be approved before additional work begins
• May incur additional cost and extended timelines

8. ESTIMATES

All estimates are non-binding and reflect our best approximation based on information provided.

Actual costs may vary due to site conditions, code requirements, or additional work discovered during installation.

You will be notified of any pricing changes before work proceeds.

Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

ZAM Electric is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, improper prior work, hidden defects, or equipment failure not caused by our workmanship.

Any liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed.

10. WEBSITE & COMMUNICATION USAGE

By submitting a form, calling, or messaging us:

• You agree to our Privacy Policy
• You consent to receiving service-related communications
• You confirm that the information you provide is accurate

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from ZAM Electric, message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

We do not sell or share mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
By using our services or submitting information, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Any disputes shall be handled in the courts located in New York State.
